System - Andrew Melville Hall, James Stirling (1967)

The system of the Andrew Melville hall was dedicated to be student dorms for the University of St. Andrews. It was designed using the new Brutalist style being a major expansion to the university. It wanted to give off a strong program and acres of concrete. He wanted the building to to have a serrated plan to center the view upon the golf courses.
