Spatial order, Maisons Jaoul, Le Corbusier, Paris, France 1951
As 2 separate houses, they were strategically placed on the plot of land. Each of the buildings created right angles except for the south side, that was adjacent to a different building. It also made for many private outdoor spaces. There was also a lot of privacy between the 2 houses and neighboring buildings because of well-placed trees and windows in the houses.
