Program - Carlo Scarpa, Querini Stampalia Restoration 1949
Repurposed to fit the public use; consists of a library, garden, a civic center, and a museum/art collection. Scarpa had an admiration for the japanese architecture and how they make use of a very small space and create magical things. The elements in the garden, such as the circular stone basin and drain were inspired by the Japanese water gardens.
