Modernist Intentions- Oxford University: The Queen's College, Florey Building

James Stirling was a modernist. James was a re-visionary Modernist. Being a modernist his strategy for  the dorms caused  problems because he put full glazed walls which caused overheating of rooms in the summertime. His original intention was to have blinds that rolled up from the floor to give you the best light and best privacy as needed.
