Material - Andrew Melville Hall, James Stirling (1967)

The material consisted of all prefabricated concrete and glazing. The concrete was patterned making the texture of the facades have a strong effect on the overall feeling of the building. He purposely made the concrete jut out on an angle to house the angled windows that provide rhythm to the facades. He wanted these windows to slice the ribbed concrete panels and a mid hight of the building creating a lighter section within the heavy feeling of concrete.
