Detail-structure- Le corbusier, ville radieuse 1924
Corbusier used prefabricated concrete to build the structure. These prefabricated structures meant the building could simply be stacked and added to whenever neccesary. These prefabricated units could house a family and would structurally support the building. The structure was also shaped so that each unit would receive as much sunlight and as little noise as possible.
